SR., Larry Donnell JOHNSON

Morrison, TN resident and Shreveport, LA native Larry Donnell Johnson, Sr., age 47, was born March 15, 1961 and died June 1, 2008 at Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. An employee of Generations and member of Smartt First Baptist Church, he was the son of Alf and Mary Jo Woodard Johnson, Jr. of Morrison, TN. He was married May 10, 1997 to Gloria Brown Johnson of Middlesboro, KY. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by one son, Larry D. Johnson, Jr. of Morrison, TN; three brothers, Keith Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Alfred Carl Johnson of McMinnville and Craig Johnson of Morrison, TN; four sisters, Beverly Cummings and Penny E. Johnson both of Atlanta, GA, Petrice Johnson of McMinnville and Donna Powell of Columbus, GA and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Smartt First Baptist Church with Jim Ramsey officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
