Mildred Mickey Boyd JONES

McMinnville resident and Warren County native, Mildred "Mickey" Boyd Jones, age 82, was born December 31, 1925 and died November 26, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. She was retired from nursing care, a member of Smyrna Church of Christ and the daughter of the late George F. and Ida Clark Boyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Sutton Jones and brother, Louis Dee Boyd. She was married August 3, 1947 to Charles A. Jones of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Wayne Baker of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Dee and Earlene Jones of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Suzanne C. Jones of Dublin, OH, Bethany A. Beets of Murfreesboro, TN and Danielle, Katie and Austin Baker all of McMinnville and sister, Evelyn Byars of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008 in High's Chapel with Jonathan Stubblefield officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
