Willie Bea McAfee JORDAN

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Willie Bea McAfee Jordan, age 88, was born June 27, 1919 and died January 31, 2008 at the Golden Living Nursing Home in Winchester, TN following an extended illness. A homemaker and poet and a member of the First United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Betty Arledge McAfee. She was married to Willie Albert Jordan who preceded her in death May 30, 2004. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Belcher and Bertie Turner and brother, Leonard McAfee. She is survived by three children, Jane Parkerton, Kristin Conner and Willie Albert Jordan, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Katrina Vess, Jordan Parkerton Gross, Jacob Conner, Sarah Jordan, Whitney Parkerton, Elizabeth Jordan and Emily Jordan; several nieces and nephews and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2008 at the Shady Grove Cemetery in Coffee County, TN with the family officiating.
