McMinnville resident and Warren County native Maggie Louise Keel, age 82, was born July 13, 1925 and died April 29, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Willie Jennings Boyd. She was married to Charles Edward Keel who preceded her in death May 16, 1990. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by bother, Eugene Boyd. She is survived by six children and their spouses, Dorothy and Jerry McKay of Jackson, TN, Bobby Keel, Wayne and Norma Keel and Jerry and Lisa Keel all of McMinnville and Carl and Gail Keel and Linda and Gerard Gijswijt of Rock Island, TN; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Douglas and Rose McKay, Jeremy and Angie McKay, Amy and Milton Whitsett, Chad and Katie Keel, Jonathan Keel, Michelle Jones, Stephanie and Kevin Knox, Nathan McDowell Keel, Chelsea Nunley and Christopher and Chaz Stewart; twelve great-grandchildren, Brandon and Zachary McKay, Avery and Owen Whitsett, Chloe and Campbell Keel, Morgan Keel, Kaylee and Alexis Patterson, Addison and McKenzie Knox and Matt Kirby and sister-in-law, Dola Boyd of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008 in High's Chapel with Richard Bowman officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory. Memorial donations may be made to or .
