Barbara Martin KING

Gainesboro, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Barbara Martin King, age 69, was born November 4, 1939 and died December 10, 2008 at Mabry Health Care in Gainesboro, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of Oster and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruby Boyd Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Tim Mix. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Darl Mix of Bradyville, TN and Dennis Duane Mix of Nashville, TN; daughter, Barbara Michele Mix of McMinnville; six grandchildren; three brothers, Willis Martin of McMinnville, Kelly Martin of Cleveland, TN and Ronnie Martin of Rock Island, TN and three sisters, Nina Johnson of Rock Island, TN, Joene Mix of Spencer, TN and Sharon Carter of Nashville, TN. Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2008 in High's Chapel with Wayne Wells officiating. Burial followed in the White Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
