Brian Lynn MARTIN

Ankeny, IA resident and Wickliff, OH native Brian Lynn Martin, age 38, was born October 11, 1969 and died August 9, 2008 at his residence following a sudden illness. A cable installer with Communications Data Link, he was the son of Barbara Hodges Knight of McMinnville and the late Glen Martin. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Walter Hodges; paternal grandparents, Frankie and Lula Martin and sister, Erica Torres. He was married to Erica Jean Keith Martin of Knoxville, IA. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by friend, Emily Jean Gustafson of Ankeny, IA; five children, Nichole, Kassidy, Tara, Tyler and Damon Martin all of Ankeny, IA; grandchildren, Evan and Kaden Martin; brother, Paul "P.J." Knight of McMinnville; sister, Michelle Taylor and maternal grandmother, Bertha Crim of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Hebron Cemetery. The family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
