Julia Annette Bond MCBRIDE

Rock Island, TN resident and Catoosa County, GA native Julia Annette Bond McBride, age 55, was born November 23, 1952 and died May 28, 2008 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A self-employed Beautician and member of Fall City Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Elizabeth Jones Bond. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Bond and sister, Jennifer Lynn Bond. She was married December 7, 1973 to Kenneth Larry McBride of Rock Island, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Keisha McBride of McMinnville; grandson, Austin McBride of McMinnville; foster daughter, Ann Cotten Shepherd and husband, Jackie of Kentucky; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry Bond and Kenneth and Reba Bond both of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Sylvia Bond of McMinnville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Garry and Carolyn McBride of Smithville, TN; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a multitude of dear friends. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2008 in High's Chapel with Garry McBride and Joey Spicer officiating. Burial followed in the Old Bybee Cemetery.
