Carolyn Virginia MCCORMICK

McMinnville, TN resident and Detroit, MI native Carolyn Virginia McCormick, age 76, died August 22, 2008 at the Medical Center of Manchester following a short illness. A retired employee of Oster Corporation and a member of East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Charlie F. and Katie Ireland Huggins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Huggins. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Austin and Gloria Henley both of McMinnville; two grandchildren and spouse, Nace and Marcia Austin of Columbus, GA and Courtney Austin of McMinnville; one sister, Mary Hill of Cincinnati, OH; two brothers, Archie Huggins and Tom Huggins both of Warren, MI; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2008 in High's Chapel with Garland Robinson officiating. Burial followed in the DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
