Dairl MCCORMICK

Rock Island, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Dairl McCormick, age 61, was born September 20, 1947 and died December 21, 2008 at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN following a one-year illness. An employee of Powermatic and TLT, Inc. and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late George and Daisy Yates McCormick. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice McCormick and sisters, Carolyn Young and Judy McCormick. He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Treva and Olen Smith of Bone Cave, TN; significant other, Helen Turner of Cookeville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 with Michael Buck and Phillip Buck officiating. Burial followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
