Mary Caroline MILLER

Detroit, MI resident and Alexandria, TN native Mary Caroline Miller, age 107, was born October 3, 1901 and died November 25, 2008 at her residence. She was retired as head chef at Dinty Moore's Restaurant and the daughter of the late Jim and Josie Buckner Reasonover. She was married to Finis Miller who preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Jessie Flynt of Detroit, MI; two granddaughters and grandson-in-law, Janice Flynt and Sharon and Willis Flynt-Childress both of Detroit, MI and four great-grandchildren Danel Flynt, Willis Childress, Jr., Bernard Childress and Bryan Childress. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008 in High's Chapel with Phillip Smith, Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
