Betty Jane MINER

Florence, AL resident (formerly of McMinnville) and Chicago, IL native Betty Jane Miner, age 85, was born February 11, 1923 and died February 20, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. A hospital lab clerk and a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late William and Flosse Langcor Truesdall. She was married to Jackson M. Miner who preceded her in death February 20, 2005. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Shelia Miner of McMinnville and Tim and Carol Miner of Franklin, TN; daughter, Terri Swaim of Russellville, AL; five grandchildren, one step-grandchild and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service and interment was held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2008 at Gardens of Memory with Mark Carrigan officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to or .
