Jesse James MOORE

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jesse James Moore, age 67, was born March 1, 1941 and died May 13, 2008 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a five-day illness. The owner of McMinnville Aluminum and member of the Church of God, he was the son of the late Walter Preston and Ella Irene Hennessee Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Preston Moore, Jr. and Paul Moore and sister, Shelby Craven. He was married June 30, 1963 to Betty Jane Boren Moore of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Ginger Moore and Darrell and Julia Moore both of McMinnville; two daughters and son-in-law, Karen Moore and Melissa and Nick Hollis both of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Austen, Connor and Ireland Moore, Saylem Powell and Erin and Madison Hollis; three brothers, Bill, Tony and Steve Moore all of McMinnville and sister, Juanita Boren of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2008 in High's Chapel with Lee Wright and Danny Sullivan officiating. Burial followed in the Concord Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the McMinnville Lions Club or Concord Cemetery.
