Pearlie McKinley MOUNT

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Pearlie McKinley Mount, age 89, was born April 27, 1919 and died July 29, 2008 at River Park Hospital. A homemaker and member of Clark United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Sally Gwyn McKinley. She was married to Ernest Mount who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sons, Willard and Woodrow McKinley and William Howard and Leonard Carr; two daughters, Alma Jerlene Carr and Georgia Lee Carr; two sisters, Pauline Brown and Josephine Walling and two brothers, Dallas and Lewis McKinley. She is survived by four daughters, Norma Jean Coonrod, Wanda Sue Thomas and Cathy Spencer (Vancie Martin) all of McMinnville and Mary Jane Pinchon (Grady) of Sparta, TN; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren; sister, Zada Mae Rutledge of McMinnville; two daughters-in-law, Margaret Carr of Tullahoma, TN and Willow Dean McKinley of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008 in High's Chapel with Rev. Vance officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
