Edwina Judkins NASH

Morrison, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native Edwina Judkins Nash, age 81, was born March 6, 1926 and died February 20, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Levi Strauss and a member of the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late George and Emma Cantrell Judkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Douglas Judkins. She was married to Carl E. Nash, Sr. of Morrison, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Diane Nash, Jr. of McMinnville; two daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Don Burks of Wartrace, TN and Shirley Johnson of the Smartt Station Community; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Cavanaugh of Detroit, MI, Nannie Bell Farris of Lakeland, FL and Georgia Pearl Maury of Detroit, MI and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 in High's Chapel with Lanny Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Liberty Cemetery.
