Kreg Earl NEWBY

McMinnville resident and Trenton, MI native Kreg Earl Newby, age 41, was born July 6, 1967 and died August 17, 2008 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A truck driver for Burton Brothers and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of Earl Fisher "Pepper" Newby of Manchester, TN and Elsie Jean Stiles Newby of McMinnville. He was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Pauline Stiles and Malcolm and Dovie Newby. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Heather Mansell Newby of McMinnville; three children, Maggie, Olivia and Blake Newby all of McMinnville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Denise and William Anderson and Sherri and Robert Mathis both of McMinnville and Karen and Randy Burks of Morrison, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Gwynn and Courtney Newby of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 in High's Chapel with Kenneth Mansell and Garland Robinson officiating. Burial followed in the Newby Family Cemetery.
