Mildred Irene Parker Mayfield PATTERSON

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mildred Irene Parker Mayfield Patterson, age 82, was born January 25, 1926 and died December 23, 2008 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Company and member of the Locust Street Church of God, she was the daughter of the late John A. Parker and Frances Irene Black Parker Passons. She was married to Creed Mayfield and Jack Patterson both of whom preceded her in death. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J.D. Parker. She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Betty Parker of Lavergne, TN; sister-in-law, Stella Parker Grissom of McMinnville; three nieces, Carol Hollandsworth and Jennifer West both of McMinnville and Becky Hash of Rock Island, TN; two nephews, Roy David Parker of Nashville, TN and Doug Parker of McMinnville; four step-children and their spouses, Pat and Carolyn Patterson, Buddy and Jana Patterson and Mira Woodlee all of McMinnville and Belinda Anne and Doris "Bill" Landtroop of Lewisburg, TN and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 in High's Chapel with Roland Sharp officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery (Hwy. 30).
