Anna Pearl PAYNE

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Anna Pearl Payne, age 101, was born March 21, 1907 and died October 18, 2008 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Harmony Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Ben H. and Laura Barnes Mayfield. She was married to Aaron Payne who preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Gerald Payne of Rock Island, TN; granddaughter, Tammy Payne of Rock Island, TN; grandsons and granddaughter-in-law, Clayton and Retha Payne of Rock Island, TN, Danny Payne; and three great-grandchildren, Layna, Katlyn and Aaron. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2008 in High's Chapel with Marion Ward and Titus Ward officiating. Burial followed in the Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
