Anna Marie Tarter PIERCE

February 3, 1940 — October 20, 2008

McMinnville resident and Winston County, MS native Anna Marie "Tarter" Pierce, age 68, was born February 3, 1940 and died October 20, 2008 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of Jesus Name Pentecostal Church, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Arcola Reed Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Cecil, Harvey and Clinton Robinson, and daughter, Lisa Gail "Tarter" Martinez. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Lynn Weddington of McMinnville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawson and Patsy Robinson and David and Becky Robinson both of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Jacob Weddington, Shanatha Brannam and Crystal Brannam; four great-grandchildren; companion, Fred Prater of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2008 in High's Chapel with Buddy Pope and George Roberts officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
