Gladys Marie PRATER

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Gladys Marie Prater, age 88, was born September 12, 1920 and died November 27, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Hardie L. and Leivetta Winnett Bell. She was married to Jack "Shorty" Prater who preceded her in death in 1997. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Jackie Craven Lowry and Elaine and Gary Powell both of McMinnville; five grandsons, Kip, Garrett and Ren Powell and Troy and Shane Craven; granddaughter, Angel Craven Raulerson; five great-grandchildren, Jessie Craven, Marino Raulerson and Aiden, Isaiah and Dayne Powell and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008 in High's Chapel with James Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Grange Hall Cemetery.
