Frankie Leon RAINS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Frankie Leon Rains, age 56, was born July 9, 1951 and died May 31, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. A lineman with McMinnville Electric System and member of the Bethany Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Leon Rains and Martha Loudine Jones Rains. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Danny James Rains. He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and John Holland of Ringgold, GA; niece, Sommer Campbell of Florida; four nephews, Brandon Rains of Florida and J.P. Holland, Spencer Holland and Matthew Holland all of Georgia; uncle, David Jones of Georgia; beloved companion , Linda Walker and her family, son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Angie Walker; daughters, Kaye and Faye Walker and grandsons, Joshua Clint Walker and Jaycee Cole Walker all of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in High's Chapel with Phillip Rowland and David Costello officiating. Burial followed in the Trousdale Cemetery.
