Lloyd Clinton RAINS

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Lloyd Clinton Rains, age 79, was born July 27, 1928 and died January 14, 2008 at Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, TN following a brief illness. A U.S. Army veteran, he retired form Central Railroad in Indiana after thirty-seven years. After retirement he enjoyed fox hunting with his brothers and friends. He was the son of the late Rufus J. and Dovie Young Rains. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Grady, R.K. and Bernice Rains and three sisters, Irene Hall, Pauline Hall and Ethel Lorance. He was married August 2, 1997 to Sally Mullican Rains of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Leonard Rains of McMinnville; two sisters, Barbara Tittsworth and Ann Stevens both of McMinnville; step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Tammy and Tony Hernandez of California and step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Ronald and Mendaz Mullican of California; five step-grandchildren, ten nieces, five nephews, several cousins and a host of friends. Funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 in High's Chapel with Bro. Gayle Rains officiating. Burial followed in the Rains Cemetery.
