McMinnville resident and Clinton, MI native Edgar Norman Randall, age 78, was born October 20, 1929 and died May 28, 2008 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A fifteen year employee of Tractor Supply Company, he was the son of Edgar and Laura Stadler Randall. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1947 and Michigan State College in 1950 with a degree in Agriculture. Norman had a herd of registered Holsteins for twenty-five years. While in Michigan he served for eight straight years on the school board, led 4-H groups and showed cattle. In 1987 he moved to Tennessee and resided here for twenty years. From 1995 to 2005 he helped his daughter Cherryl with her horse racing venture by raising babies and mares. His hobbies included walnut trees, his yard and garden. He was married September 30, 1951 to Marilyn A. Hoelzer of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Cherryl J. Randall of Florida; son, Joseph M. "Joe" Randall and his wife Jo Ann of Tecumseh, MI; granddaughter, Shannon Wasiniak and husband, John of Norwalk, OH; two grandsons, B.J. Randall of Northville, MI and Matt Randall and his wife, Kristal of Tecumseh, MI; great-grandson, Wyatt Wasiniak of Norwalk, OH; sister, Jean Randall Krans of Wisconsin and brother, Lloyd C. Randall and his wife, Pat of Michigan. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008 in High's Chapel with Rev. Steve Angus officiating.
