Arless Nolan RIGSBY

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Arless Nolan Rigsby, age 85, was born September 29, 1922 and died April 17, 2008 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A retired machinist at Genesco, a retired 50 year member of Ezell Lodge #331 at Morrison as a 3rd Degree Mason and a member of the McMinnville First Baptist Church, he was the son of the late George and Martha Page Rigsby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Haskel Rigsby. He was married March 16, 1945 to Evelyn Nelson Rigsby of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sandra Rigsby of Murfreesboro, TN; two granddaughters and grandson-in-law, Michelle and John David Todd of Lascassas, TN and Melissa Rigsby of Murfreesboro, TN; two great-grandsons, Austin and Chase Todd of Lascassas, TN; sister-in-law, Agnes Rigsby of Morrison, TN; niece and her husband, Linda and Roger Smith of Manchester, TN and nephew and his wife, James Gary and Margaret Rigsby of Winchester, TN. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008 in High's Chapel with Pastor Bill Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
