Grace Watson RONE

McMinnville resident and Marshall County, TN native Grace Watson Rone, age 92, was born May 6, 1915 and died April 5, 2008 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home. A retired bookkeeper and homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Evelyn Sheffield Watson. She was married to A.R. "Jimmy" Rone who preceded her in death April 17, 1978. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, David Neil Rone and three sisters, Sally Lee Tyree, Irene Hamlin and Gladys McCord. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Norman and Elizabeth Rone of McMinnville; granddaughters and grandson-in-law, Katherine Elizabeth Rone of Knoxville, TN and Emily Rone Simmons and Don Simmons of McMinnville; three great-grandchildren, Adam, Jeff and Brett Simmons; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Charles Whorley of Nashville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Claude A. and Jo Watson of Nashville, TN; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2008 at Gardens of Memory with Andy Gay officiating.
