Robert Franklin SCOTT

McMinnville, TN resident and Miles City, Montana native Robert Franklin Scott, age 58, was born July 13, 1950 and died November 14, 2008 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A nurseryman and a member of the Baptist church, he was the son of the late Wesley and Jessie Gertrude Akins Scott. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brother, Charles Scott and sister, Barbara Carr. He is survived by three children, Ricky Scott, Angela Scott, and Melissa Scott all of Woodbury, TN; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; five sisters, Elizabeth Pitmon, Linda George, Pearl Argo and Debbie Boyd all of McMinnville and Alice Underwood of Georgia and brother, Douglas Scott of McMinnville. A graveside service and interment was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Pokie George officiating.
