Ashley Michelle SIMMONS

Smartt, TN resident and Warren County native Ashley Michelle Simmons, age 21, was born October 24, 1986 and died January 4, 2008 at her residence following a sudden illness. She was the daughter of Thomas Michael and Brenda Fay Lorance Simmons of Smartt, TN and a member of the McMinnville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Claudine Lorance and paternal grandparents, Bud and Zelma Simmons. In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Lucian Simmons of Smartt, TN; maternal grandfather, Lee Earl Lorance of Smartt, TN; paternal great-grandmother, Irene Barnes of McMinnville; several aunts, uncles and cousins and special friend, Janice Thaxton of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 in High's Chapel with Jon Kent officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
