John SNIDER

McMinnville resident and Warren County native John Snider, age 46, was born April 21, 1962 and died June 12, 2008 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN following a brief illness. The owner of Striking Memories Photography and affiliated with the Church of Christ, he was the son of Beatrice Scott Snider of McMinnville and the late Jewell Castell "Ted" Snider. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Marshall Scott and paternal grandparents, John and Grace Snider. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Phyllis Snider of McMinnville; maternal grandmother, Annie Scott of McMinnville; aunts and uncles, Shirley and Bobby Craig, Ann Snider, Willie Snider and Lincoln and Betty Scott all of McMinnville, Billy and Lorena Snider of Indiana and several cousins. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008 in High's Chapel with Lane Dix officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery.
