Ruth Geneva STUBBLEFIELD

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Ruth Geneva Stubblefield, age 74, was born January 7, 1934 and died March 13, 2008 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. The owner of Stubblefield's Upholstery and a member of the West Riverside Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Jim B. and Susie Rogers Bouldin. She was married to James Edward Stubblefield who preceded her in death October 29, 2006. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Sammy Stubblefield; brother, Laverne Bouldin and three sisters, Gladys Argo, Zada Sain and Ollene Bouldin. She is survived by one son, Michael Stubblefield of McMinnville; two grandsons, Brandon and Justin Stubblefield and their mother, Kathy; sister and brother-in-law, Freda and Fuston Womack of McMinnville and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Melba Bouldin, Hugh and Elizabeth Stubblefield, Judy Woodlee and Jane Stubblefield all of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008 in High's Chapel with Richard Gibbs and Vernon Joines officiating. Burial followed in the Armstrong Cemetery.
