Irene Granstaff SUTTON

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Irene Granstaff Sutton, age 92, was born June 4, 1016 and died July 8, 2008 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A teacher for thirty-nine years in the Warren County School System and member of the Warren County Retired Teacher's Association and Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Littleton and Laura Ann Elam Granstaff. She was married to Arville McDonald Sutton who preceded her in death November 1, 1995. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Burger and Verna Grandstaff. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lanita and James A. Boyd of McMinnville; nephew and his wife, Joe and Kay Grandstaff of McMinnville; great-nephew, Tyler Grandstaff of McMinnville and great-nieces, Anike Morales of Biloxi, MS and Sasha Lee of Wisconsin. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008 in High's Chapel with Tim Parish and Matt Rains officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
