Evelyn Loretta TEETERS

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Evelyn Loretta Teeters, age 78, was born March 13, 1929 and died February 5, 2008 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Locust Street Church of God, she was the daughter of the late William Henderson and Mae Hodge Smith. She was a writer and several of her works were published. She was married May 27, 1946 to Willie Harold Teeters of Morrison, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Larry Fults and Regina Fields both of Morrison, TN and Tanis and Lloyd McCormick of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Shannon Teeters of Morrison, TN; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008 in High's Chapel with Rev. Roland Sharp officiating. Burial followed in the Morrison Cemetery.
