Thelma Nadine Jones VICKERS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Thelma Nadine Jones Vickers, age 69, was born February 15, 1939 and died March 1, 2008 with family and friends at her side. She was a retired beautician with Jones Twins Beauty Shop and member of the Church of Christ. She was married to Paul Vickers who preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Albert and Charles Jones, and sisters, Viola Hafley and Ruby Gunter. She is survived by twin sister, Velma Elrod of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews and three sisters-in-law, Dessie Barks and Aliene Jones both of McMinnville and Opal Jones of Hixson, TN. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2008 in High's Chapel with Johnny Haston officiating. Burial followed in Mt. View Cemetery.
