James Gilbert WANAMAKER

McMinnville resident and Warren County native James Gilbert Wanamaker, age 72, was born May 13, 1935 and died April 30, 2008 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A retired employee of Dezurik he was the son of the late Sidney Jacob and Zada Bell Coppinger Wanamaker. He was married December 22, 1956 to Patsy Dick Wanamaker of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terrell and Tammy Wanamaker of McMinnville; two granddaughters and their husbands, Melissa and Brandon Graham of Murfreesboro, TN and Crystal and Daniel Frizzell of Shelbyville, TN; three sisters, Joyce Jones of the Newtown Community and Christine Cox and Jacine Denton both of McMinnville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jakie and Isabelle Wanamaker and Carl and Hazel Wanamaker both of McMinnville; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008 in High's Chapel with Anthony Wanamaker officiating. Burial followed in the Shiloh Cemetery.
