G.C. WARREN

McMinnville resident and Warren County native G.C. Warren, age 80, was born May 15, 1927 and died January 19, 2008 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A retired employee of Burroughs-Ross-Colville, a United States Army veteran of WWII and Korea and a member of the East End Church of Christ, he was the son of the late William Asia and Lillie Mae McGinness Warren. He was married July 4, 1950 to Minnie Belle Kirby Warren who preceded him in death June 16, 2004. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Brown and Will Ed Warren and two sisters, Beulah Jones and Zula Jones. He is survived by one sister, Louise Bouldin of the Centertown Community and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2008 at Mt. View Cemetery with James Boyd officiating. Full military honor were administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.
