Ronnie Lewis WATKINS

McMinnville resident and Farmville, VA native Ronnie Lewis Watkins, age 50, was born July 16, 1957 and died April 4, 2008 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A carpenter with Wanamaker Construction he was the son of Edwin Watkins Peggy Hardin both of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Watkins. He was married to Cathy McGregor Watkins of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Buddy Myers, Bethany Roberts and Candice "Mookey" Myers all of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Dominic and Erica Roberts both of Lebanon, TN; two sisters, Linda Watkins and Brenda Watkins both of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. A service was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2008 in High's Parlor with Tammy Webb officiating.
