Tennie Eller Atnip WOMACK

McMinnville resident and White County, TN native Tennie Eller Atnip Womack, age 86, was born March 13, 1921 and died February 26, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Ephriam and Rebecca Norris Atnip. She was married to James Joseph Womack who preceded her in death April 22, 2006. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Robert Atnip and sister, Ollie Atnip. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Wayne Haston of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Larry R. and Helen Womack of Morrison, TN; two grandchildren, Matthew Lewis and his wife, Ashley of Cookeville, TN and Rachel Womack of Morrison, TN; sister, Mary Belle Moore of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 29, 2008 in High's Chapel with Kenneth Mears and Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory. Memorial donations may be made to the Lunch With Love Program at Ivy Bluff Church of Christ.
