McMinnville resident and Warren County native Bryson Lee Adams, Sr., age 68, was born November 10, 1941 and died November 29, 2009 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A self-employed water tank painter and United States Army veteran of Vietnam, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Lillian Ozell McCormick Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Harwell. He was married September 14, 1966 to Jerri Ann Cantrell Adams of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bryson Lee and Jamie Adams, Jr. of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Chandler Lee Adams, Hunter Lee Adams, Haile West Adams, Cailyn Hillis, Aspen Tai Adams and Maddox Rayne Adams; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Cindy Adams of McMinnville; two sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce and Ray Wilburn of Beech Grove, TN and Faye Walker of McMinnville; two half-brothers, Lonnie Adams, Jr. and Clyde Adams both of Nashville, TN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Newman and Dorothy Cantrell of McMinnville and brother-in-law, Bobby Harwell of Lebanon, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in High's Chapel with William Harold McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's.
