Lois Starkey BAILEY

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lois Starkey Bailey, age 75, was born May 3, 1934 and died August 25, 2009 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Westwood Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late J.M. "Jake" and Ora Irene Mitchell Starkey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Barry Lynn Bailey; four brothers, Leonard, Joe, Elvin and Marvin Starkey and sister, Thelma Starkey. She was married September 23, 1957 to Bill Bailey of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lesa and Sam Brock and Becky and Gary Holland both of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Stacey Bailey of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Brandy, Miranda, Brett and Nathan; six great-grandchildren and three brothers, Donnie Starkey and Earl Starkey both of McMinnville and Jim Starkey of Lenoir City, TN. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2009 in High's Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
