Jimmy BASHAM

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Jimmy Basham, age 56, was born September 20, 1952 and died September 1, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A factory worker and man of many trades, he was a member of the Forest Park Baptist Church and was the son of the late Thurman and Della Myers Basham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Basham and sister, Joyce Fults. He was married October 31, 1975 to Brenda Turner Basham of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons and daughter-in-law, LaShawn Basham, Jeremy Basham and Benjamin and Stephanie Basham all of Morrison, TN and Jimmy Perry Basham of Manchester, TN; two grandsons, Bryson James Basham and Devin James Basham; five sisters, Hassie Lee Dykes, Elaine Doak, Peggy Fults and Judy Stotts all of McMinnville and Mary Santiago of Viola, TN; four brothers, Cecil, Horace, Tommy and Dickie Basham all of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2009 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
