Jesse Walter BENNETT

Sparta, TN resident and Warren County native Jesse Walter Bennett, age 82, was born May 30, 1927 and died November 11, 2009 at his residence following a sudden illness. A television repairman and member of the Gath Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Elmer Forrest and Velma McAfee Bennett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Forrest Bennett. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Joyce and Arlie Bragg of Mt. Juliet, TN and Linda Jones of North Carolina; four grandchildren, April Parish of Hermitage, TN, Ryan Woodson of Joelton, TN, Brad Jones and Angie Jones; great-grandchild, Austin Woodson and two sisters and brother-in-law, Louise and Jimmy Blankenship of McMinnville and Doris Smith of Valley Head, AL. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2009 at Gath Cemetery.
