McMinnville resident and Warren County native Waymon Haskell Bond, age 62, was born December 9, 1946 and died March 15, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Carrier, he was a Christian man of the Baptist faith. He was the son of the late Edward and Dorothy Miller Bond. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Aubrey Bond. He was married October 31, 1969 to Frances K. Hollandsworth Bond of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Angela Bond, Mickey and Lynde Bond, Billy Griffin and Stacey Griffin all of McMinnville; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; four brothers and sister-in-law, Douglas Bond, Frank and Gewanda Bond, Eugene and Joyce Bond and Morris Bond all of McMinnville; eight sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene Bain, Judy Roberts, Marie and John Padgett, Diane Bond, Audrey and Charles Morgan and Wanda and Randy Neely all of McMinnville, Geneva and Reece Winfrey of Morrison, TN and Janie and Bill Underwood of Woodbury, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in High's Chapel with John Padgett and Dicky Dodd officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
