William Thomas Bill BREWER

McMinnville resident and Warren County native William Thomas "Bill" Brewer, age 81, was born December 4, 1928 and died December 18, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a short illness. A farmer and member of the Grange Hall Church of Christ, he was the son of the late William Berry and Hassie M. Medley Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Mae Campbell Brewer; brother, Clarence Burr Brewer; half-sisters, Maggie Lou Crouch, Elizabeth Warren and Burnace Blanks and half-brother, John D. Herndon. He was married to Ruby Sain Brewer of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Barbara Ann Tobitt, Rebecca Jo Brewer and Brenda Tischer all of McMinnville; two step-daughters, Diane Dishmon and Beverly Hutchings both of McMinnville; sister, Bettye Young of McMinnville; three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Roy P. Smith and Ricky Patrick both of McMinnville. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in High's Chapel with Bob Winton officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
