Emma Louise BROCK

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Emma Louise Brock, age 77, was born January 30, 1931 and died January 7, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Christian Fellowship Church, she was the daughter of the late Denny and Maggie Pinegar Davis. She was married to Sam Franklin Brock who preceded her in death in 1999. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Monroe Davis. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Phyllis Buckner and Gary W. Jones both of Rock Island, TN, Joe Warren and Teresa Jones of Gallatin, TN and Debbie Minton and Johnny Smartt of McMinnville; two sisters and brother-in-law, Judy and Robert McMunn of McMinnville and Ruth Solomon of Manchester, TN; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009 in High's Chapel with Scott Lawson officiating. Burial followed in the Greenwood Cemetery in White County, TN.
