Georgia Ann Narramore BROOKS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Georgia Ann Narramore Brooks, age 71, was born November 20, 1937 and died March 14, 2009 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of the Social Security Administration and member of the Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late George Wilson and Effie Mae Bailey Narramore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Cunningham and grandson, Bailey Alexander Brooks. She was married June 29, 1957 to Franklin Brooks of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children and their spouses, Anne and Max Haston of Knoxville, TN and Duane and Jennifer Brooks of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Travis Haston of Knoxville, TN and Caroline and Claire Brooks of McMinnville; sister, Patricia Merritt of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Riverside Cemetery with Nestor Stewart and Sue Wright officaiting. Memorial contributions may be made to .
