Zeddie Elmer CAMPBELL

Morrison, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Zeddie Elmer Campbell, age 84, was born April 4, 1925 and died October 24, 2009 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of Carrier and member of the Smartt Assembly of God, he was the son of the late Harde Albert and Ellen Burns Campbell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Dow, Dillard, Sam and George Campbell and two sisters, Mary and Barbara. He was married March 6, 1958 to Lillian Rose Padgett Campbell of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Melissa Campbell of McMinnville and Paul and Melissa Campbell of the Irving College Community; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Troy Warner of the Smartt Station Community and Shelah and Randy King of McMinnville; two sisters and brother-in-law, Edna and Eddie Farless of McMinnville and Grovene Curtis of Smithville, TN; brother, Zebbie Campbell of McMinnville and eight grandchildren, Chad, Zeddie, Isaac, Ethan, Victoria, Kade, Blade and Carson. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2009 at Smartt Assembly of God with Daniel Campbell, Jim Short and Anthony Wanamaker officaiting. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
