Asela CASTELLANOS

McMinnville resident and Matanzas, Cuba native Asela Castellanos, age 78, was born April 23, 1930 and died April 14, 2009 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Esperanza Perez. She was married to Pedro J. Castellanos who preceded her in death in 1994. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Fred Hodge of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Brandy (Michael) Reep, Amber Hodge and Scarlette Hodge all of Cookeville, TN; great-granddaughter, Madison Reep of Cookeville, TN; nephew, Alfonzo Perez of Miami, FL and special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Walling and Teresita and Lorenzo Rodriguez. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009 in High's Chapel with Coy Hathcock officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
