Myrtis June CHAPMAN

Murfreesboro, TN resident and Guntersville, AL native Myrtis June Chapman, age 71, was born October 19, 1938 and died December 5, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness. A retired railroad agent with Caney Fork & Western Railroad and member of the Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Mattie Lou Brazelton Starnes. She was married to Ralph L. Chapman who preceded her in death in 1992. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph Chapman and Lorie Waller of Louisville, KY and Richard and Lequita Chapman of Altamont, TN; cousin, Addie Lee Fults of McMinnville; grandchildren, Tisha, Ray, Merissa, Douglas and Austin and great-grandchild, Colten. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
