Edna Martin CURTIS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Edna Martin Curtis, age 91, was born February 12, 1918 and died September 23, 2009 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Company and member of the East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Ella Millraney Martin, Sr. She was married to Jesse R. Curtis who preceded her in death in 1973. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Susan Curtis of McMinnville; daughter, Gerri Bouldin of McMinnville; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; five sisters, Lorene Hillis, Juanita King, Martha Martin and Gladys Walker all of McMinnville and Jessie Gillentine of Michigan; two brothers, Sam Martin, Jr. and Harold Martin both of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 in High's Chapel with Ray Weddington officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
