Margie Nell FOSTER

McMinnville resident and Gipson County, TN native Margie Nell Foster, age 88, was born September 20, 1920 and died January 7, 2009 at River Park Hospital following a brief illness. A homemaker and member of Shellsford Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late David F. and Margaret L. Walker Bunn. She was married to Harold G. Foster who preceded her in death May 19, 1997. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Foster; daughter, Ilene Swicegood; one brother and one sister. She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Marilynn Foster of McMinnville; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two sisters, June Chadwick and Joann Schultz both of Michigan. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2009 in High's Chapel with David Daugherty officiating. Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
