Helen Jewel GAW

McMinnville resident and Bowie, TX native Helen Jewel Gaw, age 87, was born December 13, 1921 and died May 31, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. She was an office manager and member of the Central Church of Christ. She was married June 12, 1942 to J.C. Gaw, MD of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Michael Krauth of Murfreesboro, TN, Barbara and Norman Sain of McMinnville and Marilyn Gail Gaw of Knoxville, TN; one son, John Gaw of Knoxville, TN; five grandchildren, Chris Krauth, Trisha Harris, Ashli Komistek, Zac Sain and Hunter Sain and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009 in High's Chapel with Nestor Stewart and Tim Parish officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
