Fran Allison GEORGE

Santa Ana, CA resident and Morrison, TN native Fran Allison George, age 89, was born July 18, 1919 and died April 23, 2009 at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital in Fountain Valley, CA following a sudden illness. A retired supervisor with Town & Country Retirement Home in Santa Ana, CA and member of the Newland Church of Christ in Garden Grove, CA, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Allie Crouch Allison. She was married to Howard N. George who preceded her in death February 23, 1988. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Irene Shelton, Corene Gooch, Carrie McBride, Ruby Rogers Gresham, Nannie Brooks, Haskel Hobbs, Clara Saunders and Ruth Williamson. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Larry N. and Carmella Garcia-George of Santa Monica, CA; granddaughter, Sofia Lucinda Garcia-George of Santa Monica, CA; grandson, Silas Rodolfo Garcia-George of Santa Monica, CA; dear friend, Jessie Delgadillo of Santa Ana, CA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009 in High's Chapel with Glendon Cantrell officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
